I realize this is probably photo overkill, but I really couldn't help myself! I just think they're the cutest family!

Simple Pleasures of Summer

One thing I miss about being a kid is how "in touch" with the simple things of nature I was. It seems like I always had rocks or sticks in my hands or was picking grass or running barefoot in the front yard... ahh, I love those kind of basic kid memories. :)
Yesterday evening we got to enjoy some bare-foot-in-the-grass time at my dad and step-mom's house (out in the country where it's so nice and quiet) and I felt that same "ahhhh". I love summer time in Oregon!

Beautiful Bunch

Josh and I always thought it would be neat to have a big family, although we'll most likely just have three kids, but spending time photographing this family made me dream of a large family again.
Justin and Heidi are amazing parents to these five sweet, well mannered children, who were all so kind and loving toward one another, and have great personalities! I was thoroughly impressed! Mom and dad are obviously doing a fantastic job raising them. Oh, and did I mention, they're ALL stinkin' CUTE!! :) What eyes!

(p.s. I didn't enhance anyone's eyes or features, I just did my normal editing, and shot in a spot with good light in their eyes.)

Sweet Jonas

Life!

We had a much needed long weekend at the beach with family after my granddad's memorial service. It was therapeutic for me! My cousins even flew in from other states and I soaked up every minute I got with everybody. I wish we could be together more often!

Life has felt pretty nuts these days with some medical issues I'm dealing with, with things just being busy this time of year, and my business computer has been giving me problems again and I'm unable to view my calendar right now - serious problem! So forgive me if I'm slow communicating dates with some of you as I'm trying to get things updated onto an online calendar so I won't run into this again!!

Selah . 6 weeks old

Our darling Selah girl turned six weeks old on Sunday! She loves to be talked to and has begun to give us little smiles. It's so cute that she's starting to get a bit of baby chub too. I love kissing those cheeks! :)

Brody . 8 days old

I kicked off my summer photo schedule yesterday with a newborn shoot and absolutely loved photographing this little cutie, Brody! He was the easiest, "bendiest" :) and sleepiest newborn I've worked with yet.
My husband Josh has known Brody's mom since middle school, so it was a treat to get to spend an afternoon with her and her husband.
I posted a lot of shots here because I just couldn't pick! :) There's a surprise at the end... the last photo is of Brody and his two neighbor friends, Jack and Drew. They're twins and so cute! And they already have something in common... they're all Beavers! :)
